Cadets for Vets

The La Salle hockey team is proud to continue the annual tradition of the Cadets for Vets game.  This tradition, which started in 2018, raises money for the Albany Housing Coalition (AHC).  The AHC provides critical services for homeless veterans in the area.  Since 2018, the team, with the generous support of the school community, has raised over $50,0000 for the AHC. The team has a goal of raising over $30,000 this year.

 

We will be selling t-shirts at school on January 5th, 8th and 9th during the lunch periods. 

 

Shirts are $30 each and those who purchase a shirt will be able to dress down for two days on dates determined by the administration. 

 

We will also be selling honors cards during the lunch periods (see attached images) for $5 each where you can honor a veteran. Honors cards will be posted at Frear Park the night of the Cadets for Vets game (January 13, 2024 @ 6:45 pm @ Frear Park in Troy, NY). 

 

We are accepting cash or checks made out to LSI Cadets for Vets.  Plan to come to the game and support the team and this initiative.  All proceeds from admissions and the 50/50 raffle will be donated to the AHC. We are also soliciting corporate and individual sponsors in the event you know a business or person who might be willing to donate to this important cause.
